Senior Services is now distributing fans at the Senior Services Center, located at 2895 Shorefair Drive. 

12"  oscillating table fans are available for those 60 and older.

Each year for the past several years, when the weather began to heat up and summer was on the horizon, Duke Energy and the Northwest Piedmont Council of Governments  began distributing electric fans through Senior Services to seniors 60 years of age or older who were residents of Forsyth County and facing situations at home where their health and well-being were threatened as a result of insufficient cooling equipment on the premises.

Right now there are about 100 12" oscillating table fans available for distribution.  Senior Services will continue to distribute the fans as long as the supply lasts.

Seniors need to have a photo I.D. showing birth date and current address with them at the time of fan pick-up, along with a copy of a recent Duke Energy bill that shows current address.
