The Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center of Senior Services, Inc., provides a safe, caring environment for adults who need daily supervision, socialization and assistance with the activities of daily living.  The Williams Center is a practical and appealing program for older adults who need specialized care but want to continue living in their own homes or community setting for as long as possible.

CAREGIVERS' NIGHT OUT!

1st Wednesday of Every Month

6:00 to 9:00 P.M.

Loved ones will enjoy an evening of planned activities, and refreshments will be provided.

Caregivers can enjoy an evening out!

Cost:  $10.00

Services Provided

A structured program of meaningful activities, nutritious meals and opportunities for socialization is provided.  Medical supervision is included, as well as the opportunity for baths and hair care.  The staff includes the director, a registered nurse, certified nursing assistants, a program director and activity coordinators.

In addition to providing a stimulating and safe experience for participants, the Williams Adult Day Center allows caregivers to continue their work and other family responsibilities during the day with the knowledge that their relatives are safe and well cared for.

Hours of Operation

The program operates Monday through Friday, with participants choosing how many days they would like to attend.  The Williams Center is open from 7:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M., with extended care available through 6:00 P.M. by prior arrangement.

Eligibility

The Williams Adult Day Center is especially for individuals who would benefit from a safe environment and enjoy talking, laughing, singing, dancing, exercising, crafts or just people watching.  The Williams Center is designed for individuals who can generally care for their own needs and are ambulatory or semi-ambulatory.  A pre-admission assessment is conducted by staff during a visit to the center.

Cost of Services

The cost is $46.00 a day, with an additional charge for care after 4:00 P.M.  Baths and hair styling are also available for an additional cost.

Financial assistance is available for individuals with limited resources.  Persons using these funds are given the opportunity to share in the cost of service by giving what they can afford.
